Excel Building Contractors is proud to have played a central role in a standout project featured in the July 2026 issue of Private Dentistry magazine; the transformation of Sunninghill Clinic in Berkshire.
The magazine’s “How I Did It” feature tells the story of husband-and-wife team Loven Ganeswaran and Deepa Panch, who rebuilt the clinic from the ground up after taking full ownership in 2023. Loven, a dentist turned tech founder and creator of the award-winning AI-powered consultation platform Chairsyde, and Deepa, an NHS surgical doctor turned aesthetics practitioner, set out to create something far beyond a typical dental practice.
The result is a spa-like health hub that blends biomimetic dentistry and advanced medical aesthetics with GP-led lifestyle and wellbeing medicine, bridging the gap between NHS and private care under one roof.

Bringing the vision to life
Excel Building Contractors delivered the precise construction management needed to turn an ambitious design brief into reality. The project was carried out in two carefully sequenced phases: the first covering the ground and first floors of the building adjacent to the existing practice, with a second phase adding a five-surgery extension.
Every detail of the build reflects the meticulous eye for detail behind the project, from ergonomic surgical layouts and premium cabinetry to innovative decontamination systems and a centralised plant hub, all designed to optimise clinical efficiency without compromising on comfort. The surgeries are fitted with Belmont’s Eurus S8 and S6 treatment chairs, chosen for the way they combine comfort, ergonomics and a design ethos that matches the clinic’s spa-like feel.
A team effort worth celebrating

The feature credits the full project team behind Sunninghill Clinic’s transformation, including Anglian Dental and Belmont for the treatment centres, Vita Architecture for design, Dentally for practice software, and Chairsyde for patient education and consultation technology, with Excel Building Contractors named as the builder that brought it all together on site.
Being recognised in a project of this calibre, in one of the industry’s leading publications, is a testament to the skill and dedication of our team in delivering complex, patient-focused healthcare environments. We’re proud to have supported Loven and Deepa in realising their vision for Sunninghill Clinic, and we look forward to bringing the same precision and care to our next healthcare build.
