This project involved the refurbishment of an existing MRI facility situated at Ealing Hospital, which was carried out as a design and build project.
The scope of works included the removal of redundant fixtures and fittings, complete internal demolition, full internal fit-out, installation of a new RF cage, procurement and installation of a quench pipe, and provision of complete air conditioning and ventilation to meet MRI regulations.
Structural works were also required for the installation of M&E equipment, and a new plant deck/AHU pod was installed on the flat roof area. Other works comprised of the upgrade of electrical installation, installation of new joinery and fitted furniture, new vinyl floor covering throughout, and decoration.
The project was completed with a crane lift for all plant onto the flat roof area. All works were designed in compliance with the most current HTM guidelines and statutory requirements.
